LVMH Scores Big in 2012

Revenue rises 19% to $38.1 billion.

LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) had a good year. Its net profit for 2012 rose 12% to $4.6 billion (€3.4 billion). Revenue jumped 19% to $38.1 billion (€28.1 billion). The luxury marketer features perfume, makeup and skin care. Brands include Christian Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy, Kenzo, Benefit, Fresh, Acqua di Parma, Parfums Loewe, Fendi and Pucci. The Perfumes & Cosmetics business group recorded organic revenue growth of 8%. Profit from recurring operations increased by 17%....
